We are looking forward to an exciting and meaningful Youth Winter Retreat and want to share important travel details, the weekend schedule, and a packing list to help your student prepare.
Travel Information
We will depart from First Baptist Church at 5:00 PM on Friday, January 9th.
Students should be picked up at the church on Sunday at 12:30 PM, unless otherwise notified.

Friday
7:30 PM – Check-in / Canteen, Coffee Bar, Tube Hill, and other activities
9:00 PM – Chapel Session
10:15 PM – Small Groups
10:30 PM – Canteen, Coffee Bar, Tube Hill, and other activities
Saturday
8:00 AM – Breakfast
9:00 AM – Chapel Session
10:15 AM – Small Groups
10:30 AM – Free Time
12:00 PM – Lunch
1:00 PM – Free Time & Broomball Tournament
6:00 PM – Dinner
7:15 PM – Chapel Session
8:30 PM – Small Groups
8:45 PM – Canteen, Coffee Bar, Tube Hill, and other activities

8:45 AM – Brunch
9:45 AM – Chapel Session

Free Time Activity Options
Students may participate in a variety of supervised activities, including:

Climbing Wall & Leap of Faith
Tubing & Power Tubing
Ice Skating
Cross-Country Skiing
Broomball
Animal Ball

Fitted or flat sheet (Twin size; each cabin has one queen bed reserved for leaders)
Blanket or sleeping bag

(Toilet paper and hand soap are provided)
Toothbrush & toothpaste
Towel & washcloth
Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash
Clothing – Dress Warmly
Long-sleeve shirts
Long underwear / long johns
Warm pants and/or snow pants
Boots (foot warmers are a good idea)
Gloves or mittens (hand warmers recommended)
Hat or earmuffs
Scarf or face mask
Warm socks
Slippers or shower shoes
Chapel Items
Bible
Notebook or journal

Canteen snacks and drinks ($2–$20)

A complimentary PB&J station and coffee/tea station will be available in the dining hall, but students may bring additional personal snacks if desired.
Cell service is not available on all areas of the camp, but limited cell phone use is allowed. We reserve the right to keep phones in the cabins only if they are being used in ways not honoring to our goals of loving God and loving people.
If you have any questions before the retreat, please feel free to reach out. If your student does not have a cell phone (great!) shoot me a text and I’ll send a few updates over the course of the weekend.
